Don't Give Satan Credit

It is good for me that I was afflicted, that I may learn Your statutes. Psalms 119:71

Some people today do not believe that God chastises. But the truth is that if you go against the word of God or turn away from Him, He will chastise you in order to bring about repentance.

It is like a parent training a child. If a child does something not appropriate, you chastise the child in order to teach them to not do that thing.

Too many people automatically give Satan credit for everything bad that happens. It’s time to stop praising Satan and start thanking God. It’s time to stop just blaming Satan for things and examine yourself to see if maybe it might be you that has done something wrong and the Lord is chastising you.

Drop the pride and humble yourself before the Lord.

Maybe it is something you don’t recognize that you have done wrong. It only takes a moment to ask the Lord to show you, but then you need to open your heart to see what the Lord shows you, accept it and repent.

Satan is still around; he will still bug you from time to time. But stop giving him so much credit. He is not deserving of it.

Thank God and don't give Satan any glory.
