Give The Glory To God

Not to us, O Lord, not to us, but to Your name give glory because of Your lovingkindness, because of Your truth. Psalm 115:1

There are times when we tend to forget to give the glory to God. We get so focused on doing something that we loose site of the true love and gift that He has given or we get so distracted that we start doing things our way and forget that we really should do it God’s way. But the Lord is full of compassion and is merciful. (James 5:11)

God’s lovingkindness is completely astounding and because He loves us so very much He will allow things to happen in order to get your attention, to get you back to where you need to be. So if something goes wrong, before you give Satan credit for it, take a moment to be sure you are on the right track with the Lord.

Everything serves a purpose for the Lord. Whether the event is good or bad, good always comes from it because God already has a plan.

So make sure to seek forgiveness and learn from the event, then move forward. Most importantly… always remember to give the glory to God. It’s not about us, but about the wonderful gift of love He has given.
