God Has a Sense Of Humor

Many people do not recognize the fact that God does have a wonderful sense of humor.

The other night as I was in turmoil over some things, I woke up in the middle of the night and just sat and cried and asked God to PLEEEEEEEEEASE to put just one honest person in my life so I would know that I am not crazy.

I decided to go online and see if anyone I knew was online to just chat for a few minutes, but no one was online. So I went to check my emails. In the mix of technical and woodworking mail was one that had an odd subject line – something about dancing with a gangster. It turned out to be a really cute email that took you through the steps to make a sentence using your birth date and the color of the shirt you were wearing at the time. My sentence…

I loved a pickle in my car because I am NOT crazy!

That brought my tears to laughter. I laughed even harder when I realized that God had just answered my prayer too. What a way to have a prayer answered!

I know many people would say, oh you would have gotten that email anyway and yes, I agree, but it was the timing of it that made the difference. God’s timing is and always will be absolutely perfect - it had just come to my inbox not long before I went to check.
